To reflect God's infinite worth through Christ, for the glory of His name and the good of all peoples.

Al Huss

Al has been part of the Bethel community since 2012 and is currently serving as an elder, adult Sunday School teacher, and is involved in men’s ministries. He and his wife, Debby, also lead a community group. Al has been privileged to serve the Lord vocationally through two diverse callings – first as a research engineer and then as a seminary professor. He completed his engineering education at the University of Illinois and his theological education at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Al has a passion to teach God’s Word and is currently teaching New Testament classes at Lancaster Bible College and Capital Seminary.

Al was born and raised in Delaware County, PA, but has always had an affinity towards DE since he met his childhood sweetheart and future wife, Debby, at the Delaware sea-shore in 1965 (their first date was a fishing trip!). They were married in 1972 and have been blessed with three sons and eight precious grandchildren. Al enjoys reading, fishing, and regular dates with Debby, including Phillies games and daily ping-pong matches. When not in Delaware, Al and Debby can generally be found in either Raleigh or Seattle spending time with their grandkids (and their parents!).
