On Sunday mornings from 9:00am to 10:15am, we provide childcare for infants, as well as classes for children age two through the sixth grade. Sunday School classes will not meet during the summer months (July and August), however. They will resume for all ages on Sunday, September 9 at 9 AM.
During the worship service at 10:30am, infants and toddlers remain in their rooms. Children ages four through Kindergarten, however, spend the first part of the service in the auditorium with their parents. Then, just prior to the offering, we invite them to come to Children’s Church.
During Sunday school and Children’s Church, all of our Children’s Ministry classes—from babies through sixth grade—use a curriculum called The Gospel Project. We’re thrilled to be using this material for at least three reasons: (1) TGP celebrates the gospel and teaches kids to apply it to their lives, (2) it’s integrated across all ages (meaning all children study the same lesson at age-appropriate levels), and (3) it provides great opportunities for parents to talk further with their kids about the material at home.
