To reflect God's infinite worth through Christ, for the glory of His name and the good of all peoples.

Give

Why Give?

Christian giving is an act of worship that is motivated by the grace of God. The Bible does not guilt us into giving. There is no emotional manipulation or “hard sell.” Instead, Christian giving is done cheerfully and willingly as we live by faith between the cross and the promise.

We look back in faith to the greatest gift God has given. Freely we have received, freely we give.

2 Corinthians 8:7, 9 But as you excel in everything . . . see that you excel in this act of grace (that is, giving) also . . . For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.

We look forward in faith to the great promises God will faithfully fulfill. Knowing our Heavenly Father will provide for us as we seek first his kingdom, we love to provide for others.

Matthew 6:20 . . . lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

The words of our Lord Jesus Christ are trustworthy and true. “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).

Ways To Give

  • Click HERE to make a one-time or recurring donation through your bank account or debit card. Please keep in mind that Bethel’s cost when you use a bank account is $0.30 per transaction, but the cost when you use a debit card is $0.30 + 2.15% of the processed transaction. That said, we would encourage you to give via your bank account. Regardless of your choice, there is an option to increase your donation to cover the processing fee should you choose to do that. For more information about online giving and our new method for doing so, Church Center, click HERE.
  • Mail your contribution to the church office at 1217 Wilson Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.
