GET CONNECTED

Discover some of the ways we connect with one another and serve together.

MINISTRIES

Sunday Morning is Just the Start

At Bethel Baptist Church, we believe Christian community goes far beyond Sunday mornings. Whether it’s gathering in small groups, learning together, or building friendships, there are many ways to belong and connect.

COMMUNITY GROUPS

Get connected by joining a small group

Community is one of our three values (along with Gospel and Mission). The primary way we cultivate gospel community at Bethel is through Community Groups. What are these groups all about and what are they for?

Four main things:

  1. Relationships — to love one another well.
  2. Spiritual growth — to help each other faithfully follow Jesus.
  3. Ministry — to serve and care for one another well.
  4. Outreach — to live on mission together with Jesus.

BETHEL KIDS

Bring the whole family

Our Children’s Ministry desires first and foremost to lead kids to know and trust Jesus who said, “Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” Both during kids classes on Sunday mornings at 9am and through Awana on Wednesday nights (6:30-8pm), we provide engaging, gospel-centered lessons that aim at the hearts of our kids. We love our kids and we want them to come to know and trust Jesus with all their heart!

STUDENT MINISTRY

For your teens

Bethel’s Student Ministry exists to come alongside parents as they disciple their students to follow Jesus. We want our teens to wrestle through their questions and own their faith, grow in their relationship with the Lord, and represent him well. We also want them to plug into and invest their gifts in the context of the local church. We do this through Sunday morning 9am classes, Wednesday night meetings, and various activities throughout the year, including an annual summer camping trip and winter retreat.

DISCIPLESHIP CURRICULUM

Making disciples

On Sunday mornings at 9am, we offer classes for adults to help you grow in your faith and be equipped for ministry. We offer a variety of classes that are part of a three-year cycle that covers a full range of topics for spiritual formation, biblical and theological knowledge, and ministry skills.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Walking in faith and friendship

The Women’s Ministry at Bethel aims to help women grow spiritually through regular Bible study and to equip them to serve the Lord and others with their God-given gifts. In everything we do, we want to look “to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith” (Heb 12:2a). We’d love for you to join us as we gather together for prayer, Bible study, and discussion!

MEN'S MINISTRY

Building each other up in Christ

Men’s ministry is not something done for Bethel men. It’s done by Bethel men. Our aim is to equip and encourage each other to fight the good fight of faith (1 Tim 6:12). Through Bible studies and book studies, periodic retreats, breakfasts, and other gatherings, we aim to live out Hebrews 3:12-13: “Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called ‘today’ (i.e. as long as there’s still time), that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
